Brian was born in Portland, Oregon but raised in Billings, Montana. He moved to Billings when he was four and grew up playing basketball, baseball and tennis. During college, he started playing golf in his spare time and discovered the greens were truly his sports calling. He has three boys, and a loving wife for 12 years.

Brian graduated in 1997 from MSUB with a degree in Education. He developed a landscaping business throughout college and grew the client base and income stream to a point that he sold the company a couple years after he graduated.

In 2002, he joined NAI Business Properties as a Sales Associate and was mentored by Al Koelzer, a senior Broker and Prinicpal for the firm. After a year of one-on-one mentoring and training, he started out on his own with a handful of clients.

In 2003, he closed on his first big deal, an apartment complex for $2,400,000. Since that deal, he has become a top producer for the firm and part owner of NAI Business Properties. Brian completes around 20 commercial transactions annually and has grown his client base to around 50. He finds that number creates a healthy blend of personal customer care with market opportunity.

Working with NAI the last 10 years, Brian has found investment properties are one of his strengths. In the past, his personal portfolio consisted of buying apartments and houses to remodel, lease out and sell. As 2008 began, Brian co-founded a property management company in Billings, grew the client base, and sold the company several years later. He now owns a commercial warehouse and office building as well as being Owner/Principal in the NAI Business Properties Building.

He recently worked to help sell the Harnish Trade Center Subdivision, which comprises 80 acres of undeveloped land on the West End. The subdivided land sold to various buyers including Montana Water Works, Interstate Storage and a 10 acre parcel to Fed-Ex for an operations center. Brian worked on RF development (a 40 acre subdivided plat) located on the West End of Billings to sell the lots and develop the area. He has represented both seller/buyer, lessor/lessee for commercial real estate transactions ranging from apartment complexes to office buildings to 50,000 SF+ warehouse buildings.
